Fran is an Associate Professor in Marketing, having previously been a marketing practitioner before moving into marketing education.

Experienced but always curious, Fran's focus on 'social value' in marketing began during a presentation to a group of students from the Marketing Director of a Hospice. By combining teaching with research, Fran works to ensure that students get to see firsthand how marketing can have a positive impact in society.

Fran is a member of the Education Committee Academy of Marketing, as well as the Worshipful Company of Marketors. She is Chair of the Marketors Education and Knowledge Development Committee and continues to be active within the charity sector in her role as Deputy Chair of Trustees at St Helena Hospice, Colchester.
