Overview
The Advanced Diploma in Nautical Science course is designed for serving deck officers looking to process their employment in the Merchant Navy as a master and chief mate.
You are required to already hold a UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) ‘OOW’ Unlimited (Reg II/1) Certificate of Competency or acceptable non-UK equivalent.
This course will enable you to complete the required modules, followed by undertaking a series of short courses to achieve this diploma. The course has multiple intakes to enable you to start the course around your visa requirements or any special requests.
